Cycle count a location

Cycle counting involves counting a small amount of inventory at a time, with the intent of counting the entire inventory over an extended period. 

Jungle's cycle counting workflow allows users to record and adjust their inventory information as needed. To begin cycle counting at a location:

1. 1. Sign in to Jungle via the Zebra handheld
   2. Scan a location barcode
   3. Click the cycle count workflow

When the cycle count workflow is opened you'll be shown a list of items within the scanned location and how many of each line item were previously recorded as available within the location. 

Start by finding the first product on the list and scanning its product QR code. Carefully input the correct product quantity information into the appropriate field and label the products as "Damaged" and "Oversized" if applicable.  Continue this process until all products on the list are accounted for.

Missing products

If a product is missing from the location you are working in, it will be immediately cycle counted out on completion of the job.

Extra products

In the event that you find an extra product within the location you're working in, scan the product and ensure that it is accounted for. This will cause a positive adjustment in the cycle count.
